Squirreling around

Johnathan opened his eyes as he heard kids screaming streching he peeked out of his little hole in his tree in the park.

Tina ran around the park having fun on the play ground

Maxy glanced up at the sound of children playing. "Uh-oh. I should be gone before someone finds me." He was about to leave when he saw a squirrel poking it's head out of a tree.

"that time already?" johnathan asked himself looking at her skin wrist like so many humans do then shook his head "another one of thoughz dreams" he thought

Maxy approached the squirrel curiously. He'd never actually spoken to one before. They always ran away before he could say anything. "Hello!" he called to it.

Jonathan looked down and saw the raccoon and popped back in his hole but then shook his head "stupidtheyant climb" he said conga oand called down "hello down there what do you want?" he asked

"I just wanted to talk." Maxy replied, coming over to the tree. "I've never spoken to a squirrel before. Can we be friends?"

"friends? Sure I guess" he said rubbing the back of his head like a human boy would but quickly brought it down shaking his head "so what to you want to talk about?" he asks quickly

"Yay! You're my first friend!" Maxy said happily, sitting down at the foot of the tree. "I don't mind what we talk about, why don't you decide?"

"ugh well I do have These dreams" johnathansaid coming down a little bit

"Dreams?" Maxy asked curiously. "What dreams? Are they nice?"

"kinda but I dream that I'm a human then when I wake up I still feel like in the dream but in squirrel form" johnathan said

Maxy looked at his new friend curiously, fascinated by his words. "What's it like?"

"like I'm suposto be human but in a squirrel form" johnathan said sitting on his branch

"My name's Maxy!" Maxy said, suddenly realising he hadn't inroduced himself. "What's your name?"

"oh yea I'm johnathan" he said "nice to meet you Maxy"

"Nice to meet you too, Jonathan." Maxy smiled a raccoonish smile.

"so ugh how is this friendship thing going to work?" asked johnathan

Maxy cocked his head to the side as he looked at the squirrel. "What do you mean?"

"uhhhh I don't know I'm new to this thing to" he said drugging his shoulders

"Well...." Maxy thought for a moment. "I guess we kinda just....hang out."

"o them follow me I've got the best place" johnathan said running down the tree pretty much until he got to a little bush

Maxy followed Jonathan.

"under you go" he said after looking around

Maxy looked at the squirrel, confused. "Um....under what?"

"the bush" he said
